Cultures of Lancaster City Geocache/Urban Hike

We've designed an urban hike for geocachers and others to explore 14 international restaurants and stores in and near downtown Lancaster, Pa. You'll discover a wealth of cultures, from Greek to South American, Italian to Korean, British to Japanese, Mediterranean to Caribbean, and lots of places in between.

The entire trip is designed as a 75-minute urban hike, although please allow time to stop in and meet the owners!

Geocachers, this is a multi-stage puzzle tour with a microcache at the end. (A recreational GPS unit is required.) Start here.

Don't have a recreational GPS unit? Try our low-tech version. (No GPS unit is needed.) Please note that this is a beta version; help us identify any problems and send us your recommendations. Thanks!

(The geocache version includes clues for the coordinates of a microcache; the low-tech version does not.)

Please send us your Cultures of Lancaster Geocache stories and photos.

Congratulations!

Margo, Kyra, Cohen, and Corey navigate their way through Lancaster City.

Geocachers Corey and Margo, and their children Kyra and Cohen, Lancaster, Pa., were the first to find the Cultures of Lancaster City geocache. Within a few hours of the cache being published, they had hit the streets, gathered the clues, solved the puzzle, and found the cache. They won a gift certificate to Rachel's Cafe & Creperie, donated by owner Rachel Adams. Congratulations!

Found It!
