More Details
When you arrive at Conestoga House, park on the grass in front of the fence near the side entrance (off River Drive). Pull in with your headlights facing the fence. Follow the signs through the gardens, and be prepared to give your name to pick up your advance tickets and to enter the event area. If you have not purchased advance tickets, please bring payment (cash or check) with you. Click here if you need directions to Conestoga House and Gardens.
The event kicks off with the pool party from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be a certified lifeguard on duty; however, you are responsible for your children during the event. Restrooms with showers and changing rooms are conveniently located by the pool. The international hors d’oeuvres will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the musicians and artists in the gardens. We invite you to bring a picnic supper, picnic blanket, and your checkbook or cash to purchase items from the silent auction.
The Steinman family is generously allowing Kids and Cultures to use The Gardens at Conestoga House. We ask that you help us respect the beauty and serenity of the gardens by keeping your child(ren) with you at all times. There is a large open yard near the pool/food area in which children can run and be noisy before; we ask that they walk and be quiet at all other locations in the gardens. (Of course, we can all be loud during the pool party!)
