Take the Embassy Row Tour with Kids and Cultures. This one-day Washington, DC, bus trip includes visits to five embassies with presentations by diplomats from those countries, lunch at an ethnic restaurant, and other educational activities.

Tentative schedule
6:45 a.m. Meet at Lancaster Shopping Center in Lancaster, Pa.
7:00 a.m. Leave Lancaster by charter bus (Elite Coach)
10:00 a.m. Arrive in DC
10:15 a.m. Embassy #1: Chile
11:00 a.m. Embassy #2: Indonesia
11:45 a.m. Eat lunch at Marrakesh Palace (authentic Moroccan cuisine)
1:15 p.m. Embassy #3: Cyprus
2:00 p.m. Embassy #4: Côte d’Ivore
2:45 p.m. Embassy #5: Finland
3:30 p.m. Leave DC
Stop for supper at Security Square Mall Food Court (on your own)
7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Arrive in Lancaster

This trip is designed for elementary age children and their parents, although it is open to everyone.
